Beach Day! Audrey and I took an hour train ride to Ostia Lido and walked along the beach until we found the perfect place to lay down our towels and soak up some sun.
The thing in Italy is that, beaches aren’t always free. Most beaches ask for an admission price between 10-20€ per person! We ended up walking about 1km down the beach until we found a beach with free access, but we still ended up paying 5€ to rent a beach umbrella to keep ourselves from burning up under the sun and to keep me from turning red as a lobster.
Audrey was thrilled to finally be dipping her toes in the Mediterranean sea! We both were actually, a beach day was much needed for the both of us.
